JEDI would like to invite New Brunswick Aboriginal Entrepreneurs to take part in our Plenary on February 23 – 24. The Plenary is entitled 'First Nations Open for Business' and it will explore how more investment can be made in Aboriginal communities, entrepreneurs and youth.
Day 1 will be a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs to participate in workshops like:
- Aboriginal Business Funding
- Building Your Brand
- Aboriginal Labour Market Information
For a preview of the complete plenary agenda, please click here: http://blog.jedinb.ca/february-2015-plenary-agenda/.
Day 1 will also include a networking reception at the Venn centre that will feature artist Natalie Sappier live painting and several Aboriginal musicians and dancers.
Day 2 is another great day for entrepreneurs, featuring our two speakers: Dwayne Ward and Gabrielle Scrimshaw. After our speakers, JEDI will host a panel of Aboriginal Entrepreneurs who will provide insight into their own businesses by sharing what has worked for them and advice for other Aboriginal entrepreneurs.

In addition, JEDI will be hosting a trade show on both days of the plenary with booths set-up for Aboriginal businesses and JEDI partners.
JEDI has 5 trade show booths left for Aboriginal entrepreneurs, if you are interested in getting a booth, please call Bryan Harn at 506-444-0907 or Bryan.Harn@jedinb.ca. (The trade show booths are available on a first come, first served basis.)
JEDI will be able to provide sponsorship to a limited number of entrepreneurs who need to travel more than 100km to attend the plenary. Please contact Bryan Harn at 506-444-0907 or Bryan.Harn@jedinb.ca for more details and to see if your business qualifies for sponsorship. Preference will be given to entrepreneurs who have not been sponsored by JEDI to attend any event in the last fiscal year.
